Brooklyn Cocktail
My first Brooklyn was made by one of my favorite bartenders in LA. Derek made it for me the first time I came into General Lee's. I was really into mixing drinks at home during that period of my life and he saw that interest. I told him what I liked and asked what he thought might be a twist I haven't tried.
Bar Tram
Tokyo is a place where I find comfort in being uncomfortable. Being surrounded by a culture I don't quite understand. Figuring it out has become an obsession of mine. At times it can get a little overwhelming so it is nice to get away from it all.... Come in Bar Tram, a comfortable, quiet and beautiful cocktail bar near Ebisu Station. A place where ex-pats and locals come to enjoy amazing cocktails created by the master mixologists.
La Contenta
Mezcal, my current obsession. After finding an unexpectedly excellent cocktail bar just a block from Time Square(The Rum House.) The bartender sent me on a journey through different parts of New York. One of the places was a little Tequila/Mezcal Bar and Restaurant called La Contenta a few blocks off the beaten path in the East Village.
Alex, the bartender I met there made me this killer Mezcal concoction and then introduced me to the whole staff. Definitely a memorable night.
